We have received a new male Bennett’s wallaby from Manor house Zoo, and a new male Parma wallaby which we swapped for a female. They have both settled in well and Manor house tell us that the female Parma wallaby that we donated to them has also settled in well. When a new animal is introduced into a group we keep a close eye on them and give them browse for enrichment. We have erected a visual barrier between the Parma wallabies and the Emu as the Emu are breeding and may take exception to a strange animal appearing next door. They recognise the existing Parma wallabies and know when there is a stranger present.
