Grey breasted Conures

The critically endangered Grey breasted Conure chicks produced and successfully reared by our breeding pair this summer have been donated to Paradise Park, Cornwall.  They were delivered there at the weekend and will join other chicks produced by Chester Zoo last year.  They will form unrelated pairs and increase the numbers of this species in captivity in order to support the wild population, which is very small.  We hope that our breeding pair will repeat their success next year.
