School Visits

School visits can be booked by telephone, and a special talk and demonstration can be offered with 'hands on' snake, lizard and rabbit (Depending on the age and interest of the children).
Party rate applies with one free teacher for every ten children.
Schools visit the Animalarium for a fun day out, but we also offer an educational experience which can tie in with national curriculum e.g.Biology, Nature Study, Art, Science and Creative Writing.

Work Experience

Schoolchildren and College students may come to the Animalarium for their work experience, or for part of their Animal Carer courses. We train the students to care for the animals here, and to study animal welfare issues.
