Welcome To The Animalarium

Welcome to the Animalarium. We are a small Zoo in mid-Wales, we like to offer a home to unwanted Zoo animals and exotic pets. Even Nilly the Eurasian Lynx was an unwanted pet!  However, now she is two years old, she is no longer quite as tame. I can still go in with her for a cuddle, but we can no longer bring her out for walks.

The Animalarium is disabled friendly, with flat concrete paths to all exhibits, no steps and only gentle slopes.  This means that it  is easy to walk around and to push your buggy.

There are daily activities, Reptile shows when you may touch and stroke lizards and snakes and which may include a performing Macaw.   Also a Meerkat encounter, Bunny grooming,  Crocodile feeding, Meerkat, Owl and Cat feeding.  All these activities include a talk about the animals and a qestion time and they are all free.

Pony rides, in the summer only, are an additional charge.
